What is the Good News?

The Good News, the best news anyone ever heard, is the message that God redeemed sinful humanity through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.

But you may be wondering what this actually means.

Quite simply put, it means that the debt that is required to pay for your sin does not have to be paid by you, because Jesus paid it all. For everyone. It means that you do not have to work to pay for your own sin, because the price to be paid is one that is too high to be paid by you, so it has been paid by Jesus Christ, the only One who could pay it in full. If you accept His free gift, you will be saved.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him” John 3:16–17
